Nutrigenomics is the branch of science that studies how nutrition and genetics interact to influence our health and well-being. This genetic test may help you achieve your wellness and weight loss goals more effectively.

Nutrigenomics Results Overview

Nutrigenomics testing takes approximately 3 weeks to get back. After your test results are received, I will schedule a counseling appointment to go over your results within 7 days.

You will receive an emailed copy of your comprehensive Nutrigenomics Genetic results to go over at our counseling appointment. 

PERSONALIZED nutrition PLAN

I create a Personalized Nutrigenomic Health Plan for you! You will receive a detailed health plan that includes:

1. Recommended foods based on your genetic        expression (the way information is stored in          genes to produce proteins for cell function).

2. A customized supplement plan that includes       links to special discounts on pharmaceutical         grade science-based supplements 

3. Educational materials to help you learn more       about your wellness concerns and the “root”         cause of imbalance.

4. An emailed summary of your health plan                 including all materials and discount links.

WEEKLY PHASE COUNSELING

Each week we will meet via in-person, phone, or zoom to discuss how you are feeling and any changes we need to make to your plan.

1. One on one tutorials on how to create easy          meals, fermented foods, and even growing your   own garden!

2. Suggest Lifestyle changes on how to meet weight/health goals and increase energy.

3. Nutrition discussions and how to meet your specific needs.

4. Learn how to incorporate your personalized plan into your daily family routine.

5. Accountability to your goals and support for your success and setbacks.

What is Nutrigenomics?

You know that old saying “you are what you eat?” Well, turns out, it’s likely true! There is a whole new scientific study called nutrigenomics that focuses on how the food we eat interacts with our genes, and how it can be used to treat and prevent disease.

So, how does nutrigenomics work, and what does it mean for you? Let’s explore.

The Basics of Nutrigenomics

We know how our genes work in obvious ways. He has blue eyes, she has brown. When you stop to think about how the slightest difference in our genetics can drastically change how we look on the outside, it’s easier to understand how we can be so different on the inside as well. That’s the basis of nutrigenomics, our unique genetic makeup, how it pertains to our health, and how the food we eat affects it.
